The latest album by Daitro from France, Lyon . A totally perfect blend of Post Rock, Hardcore and Rock'n Roll where it prooves that there are still some bands that hold the very core of Punk Rock that French Emo has really held back in the days are still alive. Bands like these guys, Sed Non Satiata and even the more atmospheric, kind of post-metal-ish Aussitot Mort (all from France) are really pushing the screamo sound to new territories. [Listen] |

The LP contains the out of print stuff from the split LP w/ Sed Non Satiata, the split 7" w/ Ampere and the 2 songs that were on the US tour 7".
For me its still some of their best tunes to date of emotive french hardcore. Daitro is easily one the best bands today in that genre. They see their band also as an instrument to deliver political statements and thoughts ... maybe it sounds pathetic - but its More Then Just Music. I love them and if you haven't heard of them yet - go and check them out!
The records comes in a beautiful artwork done by Julien, printed innersleeve and every LP incl. a download coupon for videos from a show in Japan and another video of the song Laisser Vivre Les Squelettes that Kad from SNS cut from various live videos from the SNS/Daitro tour in 2006. [Listen] |
